Fragrance Story

Abortion and its access are a fundamental human right for all women, trans people, nonbinary, and intersex people capable of pregnancy. As someone who has marched, protested, volunteered, and donated for full bodily autonomy, I am livid that the government will tell people what they can – and can’t – do with their own bodies. I have been there for friends when they made the very personal, very intentional choice to have an abortion for their own reasons (and on their own terms). This fragrance was created in direct response to the Supreme Court overruling Roe in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on June 24, 2022, eliminating the federal standard protecting the right to abortion. All proceeds of this fragrance will be evenly split between The Brigid Alliance, and Just Us at Oasis Center in Nashville, Tennessee. None of us no longer have the luxury or option to do nothing. Collectively or as individuals, it is imperative that we fight back with everything we have.

About Just Us at Oasis Center

In 2011, Oasis Center launched Just Us to provide LGBTQ+ youth with a safe and affirming space to feel validated for their authentic selves and to learn how to use their voices to create change. Just Us programming is designed to create a safe and affirming space where all LGBTQ+ youth can feel empowered to explore and celebrate their identities and express themselves authentically while building connections and community with their LGBTQ+ peers.

Donation benefactors

The third batch was released 4 July 2024 and:

• $492.25 has been donated to The Brigid Alliance
• $492.25 has been donated to Just Us at Oasis Center

The second batch was sold from 23 December 2023 – 1 July 2024 and:

• $1041.25 was donated to The Brigid Alliance
• $1041.25 was donated to Just Us at Oasis Center

The proceeds from the inaugural batch were originally split between The Brigid Alliance and Transpire Oklahoma, an organization that had to shut its doors due to the executive director’s detrimental health issues. The remaining proceeds for Transpire were donated to The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (The Center). Of the original 100 bottles, 13 were used for testers and sample sets. 87 bottles were sold and:

• $1090.25 was donated to The Brigid Alliance
• $500.00 was donated to Transpire Oklahoma
• $590.25 was donated to The Center
