On February 12, 2024, I received alarming news regarding a website named Fragrance Revival. This website was shamelessly selling knockoffs of our beloved fragrances. As the founder of Filigree & Shadow, I felt compelled to address this issue directly with our cherished customers.
Upon investigation, it became evident that Fragrance Revival had listed 40 of our fragrance names with “Filigree & Shadow Type,” a blatant attempt to mimic our authentic creations. Among the knockoffs were deeply personal fragrances, including one dedicated to my late mother who tragically succumbed to Covid-19. Additionally, they replicated fragrances crafted to support vital causes such as abortion rights, LGBTQIA+ services, and humanitarian efforts in Syria.
Filigree and Filigree & Shadow are trademarks of Filigree LLC, registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Fragrance Revival’s exploitation of our brand name and fragrance titles without consent is a clear violation of intellectual property rights.
Fragrance Revival claims to use 22% perfume oil along with other ingredients in their knockoff products. However, their lack of transparency regarding fragrance allergens and their disregard for proper maceration processes pose serious concerns for consumer safety and product quality.
