Fragrance Story

I was baptized Roman Catholic at birth, but like my mom, I, too, lapsed in my faith. Whilst I don’t miss the religion, I still hold a reverence for cathedrals and love visiting them whenever I travel. The sheer size of their exterior and interior construction is humbling, a reminder of how insignificant I am in this vast world. I always light a votive candle in the racks along the side altars and breathe in the air naturally perfumed from centuries of incense swung from the censer. I like to sit quietly in the pews; in the silence, I often hope for a ritual or prayer that grants me the power to forgive myself. This perfume is an olfactive proposition of acceptance.
